When Myrtle Rust was discovered in New Zealand we were alerted and asked to assist with the surveillance work and control.

Our trained quarantine staff were asked to visit a number of nurseries and determine whether any plant stock was infected with the disease, and assist in the removal of contaminated material and disinfecting of the property.

We use strict quarantine procedures and were able to make sure that the sites were cleared of the disease and able to open for business again.
